TILLYS
At Tillys, I was brought on as the designer to help build the print-on-demand program from the ground up, helping turn an early concept into a scalable and profitable part of the business. My role included creating top-selling graphics, developing production templates and processes and helping move artwork from concept to final printed garment.
I worked closely across design, production, licensing, vendors, cut-and-sew, and marketing to troubleshoot print methods, ink colors, fixation levels, X/Y graphic placement, sizing, MIM/color profile settings, and garment-specific print requirements including tees, fleece and blends, and white base layers. I also maintained product and license catalogs, managed approvals through licensor portals and handled revisions. As the program quickly grew I also supported the training of other designers and assistants.
Through this work, the POD program evolved from an early-stage concept into a multimillion-dollar revenue channel, showing consistent year-over-year growth in both sales and profitability.
